So 2026 was the time my batteries needed replacing. The AGM’s I had installed on purchase had lasted 10 years and in that time battery technology had moved on.
I wanted a system I could fully integrate with my Victron system so I could accurately see the status of everything both locally and remotely I also wanted the Victron to be able to control the charging from all the available inputs.
After some reserch I decided to go for,
Batteries – FogStar Gen II
Alternator – Balmar
External Regulator – Arco Zeus
The fogstar and Arco were purely chosen due to there native victron integration
