Day 14

We left Coventry earlyish before the wind picked up again, we have largely retraced our journey back up the North Oxford canal heading for Braunston junction where we will then head for Warwick

During our journey, through the interweb we heard that Megan Duke passed all the interview process and has made on to the CISCO apprentice  scheme, well done Megs.

Mick was driving for a while today and needed some refreshment!

Todays journey was just about a record for us, covering 22 miles!

Day 13

We spent the day in Coventry. It’s a lovely city. This was somewhat enforced as the basin in Coventry is very small and turning is tricky, added to that a 25 mph wind and Mick just didn’t fancy it!

They have a fantastic transport museum, it’s free to enter and well worth a visit.

Some pictures.

We also went on the thrust SSC 4D ride, you get to see from the cockpit what it was like to break the land speed record.
